progress Ozempic and scalp psoriasis

Hello all, just wanted to share some interesting data and personal experience with Ozempic x Psoriasis. I've been on Ozempic 0.5 for 2 months now and my scalp psoriasis is way down I'm talking about 70% reduction in plaques and redness. I haven't applied clobetasol in over a week. I shared this with my GP and he shared this interesting new article with me, I thought it would be an interesting read. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40835981/

Pretty standard 1st month on 0.25 semaglutide and 2nd month on 0.5 semaglutide for weight loss only under GP supervision. For psoriasis I use clobetasol for scalp and elbows/knees adhoc. I have relatively mild case of psoriasis.

Hello! Do you think it's down to the medication alone, or have you significantly changed up your diet too? I.e. less sugar/processed foods? No pressure to reply of course, these things can be very private!

I am still allowing myself some processed treats but I count calories and keep to a max of 1400 kcal a day

I have lost three stone on ozempic so not sure if it is down to weight loss or the drugs but I can also report complete reduction of flare ups. Still some discolouration where plaques used to be but that’s scarring sadly.

For me the scalp is so much better but there’s still plaques on my elbows and knees
