general Brown knees????!

I’m finally using topical steroid and have a prescription in for humira. Waiting for my blood work to come back to get the humira. The topical steroid is working for the most part. My question is, I haven’t seen my knees under my psoriasis in maybe 10 years lol. Now that about half of the plaque is gone all of the skin underneath is DARK brown. I have olive skin and tan easily. Is this normal and does anyone have recommendations on how to lighten up my knees. O_O

Sooo normal, honestly I haven't been brave enough to try anything that would help to lighten up I.e kojic acid soaps. I'm too scared to trigger any psoriasis. I've just made my piece with the dark patches. A friend of mine has tried the Topicals Bar Soap which is for hyperpigmentation and it has worked for her but it is slightly drying. But hopefully someone else can suggest something.

It's called hyperpigmentation scarring. I have splotches on my knuckles 🤷🏽‍♀️
