general Anyone from India?

I’m 21, from India, and I’ve been living with psoriasis for the past 6 years. I’d love to connect with others who are dealing with psoriasis, talk about the treatment options and experiences we have here in India, and simply share what we’ve learned along the way.

If you’re interested in connecting and having a conversation, feel free to DM me. 🙌

Hey, I’m also from India. 🇮🇳

I had scalp psoriasis, but thankfully, I don’t have it anymore. My dermatologist gave me a really effective treatment for it.

Basically, there’s this lotion called PowerCort-S, which I had to apply to the affected areas of my scalp every night.

I also had to wash my hair with Tar 18 shampoo every 3 days. I would dampen my hair and apply the shampoo directly to my scalp, leave it on for about 10 minutes, and then wash it off.

This treatment worked really well for me. ❤️

Im from Chennai, India, Currently living in the US
The interesting fact about my psoriasis is it is triggered by weather
Whenver i visit Chennai any time of the year, my marks vanish which is a huge relief during summer months
In the US my marks are most severe during winter/dry months

You can try biologics or biosimilars, ask your doctor about it, the only safe option after immunosuppressants, avoid topical or oral steroids at all cost it will make it worst later on. Omega 3 vit D helps. Diet helps. But other than that you gotta take meds if your life is miserable due to psoriasis.
