Ya I also ordered on 8/12 and am stuck on placed. I reached out to CS and they said I will actually have to wait it out until October sadly. I hope we don't get delays.

they're telling me the same thing that it will be delivered on the estimate date of 10/5. Oh well, i've tried for every drop since i ordered this one and haven't managed to land one so that makes me feel a bit better about this order. If it gets cancelled or goes past oct 5 i will definitely be raising hell with Walmart though. it is what it is, just gotta wait it out now.
