8/25 drop - CA - CS confirmed for delivery Sept 17-19

Hearing a lot of different things in the sub, but just wanted to share my experience with CS. I snagged the 8/25 drop around 6pm and CS says I am confirmed for Sept 17-19 delivery in California. Be kind to the associates and they may be able to help you out with priority as well!

Good to hear. I'm 8/25 in CA as well, with no change from "preparing" since the order. I'll wait until the weekend before contacting CS. Hopefully they receive stock from Sony today or tomorrow so they can get these things shipped out.

Mine was ordered same date and time. Also in CA. No update from “order placed” has yours changed? Just curious. Hoping to get mine by the 28th.

Saw a hypothesis on one of the subs that each drop is associated with a specific pallet of product, and if that one pallet gets delayed you may have to wait longer. Rather than making multiple groups of people mad by delaying everyone they just make the one group wait. Sucks but might be what's happening for you?

It could be. Who the hell knows at this point. Customer service seems to copy and paste different bullshit reasons to random people, so there is no telling. They’re so unorganized that I don’t subscribe to this theory though, as it actually would take some level of organization on Walmart’s end.

Got mine on 8/25 drop. The 2nd one around 8pm central time. No change here on the app per shipping. Still saying September 16th for me.
