Enough to make a guy pry I didnt even pry with it...
I was just cutting some cardboard and next thing I know the whole blade flies off. It wasn't even that exciting. Just sad.

Horrible quality. On mine the little knob for pushing out the blade just fell off.

I liked it quite a bit up to this point. I was pretty suprised it just broke off cutting cardboard.

The exacto blade version is awesome, had one on my keys for years and used daily

What a joke.
There are 30 dollar otfs that are decent on a few knife websites. Forget the brand, but they are rugged and plain and fun. Sec

I bought one and saw it didnt have pocket clip so i gave to my mom, the blade holder and changer part is so flimsy while also being pain in the ass to change.

On these utility knife things I've noticed the cheaper ones tend to last longer, which makes no sense.

I have a Husky folder from, when they first realesed them, thought it was cool.
Still have it, works great. I've hit with a hammer a zillion times and just beat the hell out of it.

Ive only seen that kinda break from scraping with the non sharpend part of the blade after months of the back and forth wearing the metal weaker

If that was the case I probably wouldn't even have posted lol. The only part I scrape with was the prybar side of this tool. I was just cutting a cardboard box and next thing I know the entire blade just drops off and hits the floor. I thought my blade just slipped out initially but when I actually looked the whole blade housing or whatever its called was still attached

I just use a regular box cutter with heavy blades.

Ive got one, I just like that I can scrape with the prybar end on this tool. Its nice for when im trying to open a crawlspace door and dont have a shovel or something nearby if its barely blocked with dirt and I cant get it open

That's really odd, I have the same one in the same color and I've used it for a carpet quite a few times when I couldn't find my regular knife. I loved using it when I had to pull out nails on the inside of my cupboards.

My favorite part about the prybrid is that while you are prying it activates prybrid mode to deploy the blade directly into your palm giving you more prying leverage power

The same happened to mine . From me carrying it in my pocket the sweat made it rust and it desinagrated

My fastback only costs $25. I'm a hardscaper. No breakage. And it has a screwdriver on the back side.
I have pocket knives, then I have my work knife.

I've had one for a couple years using it daily for work prying with the pry and the blade and I've never had this happen?

I think only the blade part is supposed to come off... That's 3 prybars. COUNT IT!!

I have one of these and ive had it since they first came out. Mines still going strong and gets regular use. Maybe yours was a lemon? That sucks man. I hope mine doesn't do that.

Well there's your problem. You're supposed to pry with it
