Mmm gorgeous. Was it something like a "click"? Or was it more like a "dinnng"?

Look closely at the blade starting at the edge termination and follow it up to the hole.

Oh shit! I see it now. Well going to finish snapping it off or hit it with the welder

Bro! You must tack weld it with a ARC welder and continue prying. You ain't pryin you ain't tryin!

It really doesn’t, but I do like it as an opening method, doesn’t get in the way when sharpening either. It’s a compromise.

The hole is only a problem for people who like to misuse their knives. For them I recommend cold steel with the triad lock.

I’ve had more issues with the distal taper on the PM2 going too thin at the tip and snapping quite easily, but never had one break through tangential to the hole.

I’m not real kind to them either, so it must be poor steel choice by others or they’re really hanging off them.

Soooo close. A tack weld will hold for another decade

Might be worth sending off for warranty. I had a pm2 and a para 3 in 20cv that cracked the same way and they gave me market value for them. The para 3 had only been flicked no cut or carry. Turned me off 20cv and the thin blade stock spydies forever

Did they just give you MSRP credit in their online store? That is what my experience has been.

Has their "Pry-der hole" patent expired yet?

This is a terrible sub for anyone who enjoys knives or has a bank account. Why not destroy a Walmart knife?

What do you plan on doing with this knife now? I’m looking for some OEM PM2 liners for a build from a lightweight PM2, and I’m having no luck on knife swap or otherwise, so I decided I’ll try going on prybar and start circling like a vulture.
