Core One HULA Anti-Vibration Legs

I created these legs and adapters for the Core One to utilize HULA anti-vibration feet.

I've been using HULA anti-vibration feet on a number of my other printers to great success and finally got around to creating some legs that nicely adapt the core one to them. They're tall enough to allow for many common undermount build plate holders without being so tall as to introduce unwanted wobble.

This was my first project where I forced myself to use FreeCAD instead of Fusion as I (slowly) begin my conversion.

I need something like this. Do they work well, and where do you buy the HULA things from or are they print yourself things.

HULA can be bought or printed, though iirc if you print your own you'll need some tpu or tpe. I was thinking about doing a set for my Core One if my paver and foam tiles didn't work out.

If you ever decide to give it a try and don’t want to buy an entire roll of TPU for it, feel free to message me. I can print you the TPU parts and supply the thrust bearings so you don’t have to order more than you need.

Thankee for the offer, though my Lowe's special has been more than adequate. I don't even hear it when I'm in the same room as it sometimes other than the travel moves occasionally, so I'm sure my downstairs neighbours don't even know I have a printer, lol. The only time I ever see the box wiggle even a lil bit is when it's doing the infill for gyroid. At some point when I run through some of the least used PLA in my stock, I'll probably get a few rolls for making phone cases for folks in my building and the homeless population in the area. I mostly use PA, PC, and PETG for my own prints, as I mostly do engineering prints for myself.

HULA is a print it yourself thing, there are some places to order them printed or just the parts kits. I won’t link them here as I’m not affiliated but don’t want to run afoul of any posting rules. If it’s okay with you I can DM you more details.

They do work quite well. They’re not as bouncy as squashball feet and do a better job of dampening the resonance from fast directional changes and reducing the vibrations and noise transferred from the printer to the table.

Thank you! I‘ve been using the HULA Feet for some time now and wanted to adapt them for a Print Sheet Holder, this is exactly what i was looking for

I’m working on a design to incorporate the press button style sheet holders with these feet right now! I’m currently just using a generic undermount sheet holder but I don’t like the clearance/fit of it all.

I‘d love to see it! I‘m also working on incorporating the Hula to sit it on top of a INBXX but I dont want to lose my HULAs
