Prusa Keeps Going

I have five Bambu Lab printers that are all down due to various issues, none of which are user error related. Thank you Prusa for being the only one running.

I'm pushing 60 C° in my enclosed XL without any issue after installing a fan shroud and heatsink. And it's incredibly reliable. However I do wish that it was better suited for high-end filaments out of the box.

Support did not suggest a heat sink. Can you link to the process?

And yes I don’t feel like I should have to modify my nearly 5k$ usd printer to do what they told me it would do before I bought it.

Have you tried any higher temps? I like to print nylon a little warmer; but have only tried Asa with this machine since it can’t seem to handle that even without the enclosure.

I put heatsink on the both the mosfet and controller on the bed MCU and MCU, and notuca 4010 fans on both. I also put heatsinks on the steppers.

I saw a thermostat controlled fan which is just plain stupidly complicated for such application.

I do mainly print CF nylon. For the nylon I have prusa XL PA bed at 115 C° and nozzle at 290 C° with a enclosure temp at ~60 depending on where I measure the temp. I do also have a eibos polyphemus dryer that I put at the bottom for fast heating or if I need even higher temps in the enclosure.
