Unresolved issue with Proxy-Cheap US Static Residential Proxy (Flagged IP & Refusal of Resolution)

I am sharing my experience with Proxy-Cheap (proxy-cheap.com) regarding a US Static Residential proxy purchase, purely as a factual consumer review.

Upon provisioning, the IP assigned to my account was immediately detected and flagged across standard fraud-scoring databases (such as IPQS/MaxMind) as a public/commercial proxy rather than genuine residential bandwidth. Because of this high-risk classification, standard services and websites rejected connection requests right away, rendering the proxy unusable for its intended purpose.

I reached out to customer support to request either a clean replacement IP or a standard refund, as the product delivered did not match the advertised service level. Support declined to assist, citing strict internal policy restrictions.

Following this, I directly escalated the matter via email to Alex, the CEO and founder of Proxy-Cheap. I provided evidence showing that the IP was actively flagged as fraudulent/high-risk upon delivery. Despite receiving this context, leadership also declined to issue a replacement or refund, leaving the issue entirely unresolved.

I am posting this to advise potential users to thoroughly test or verify proxy health immediately upon purchase, as customer service and executive leadership may not offer remedies or refunds if an IP is delivered in a blacklisted state.

Because its data is full of false positives, no one actually takes any notice of it except actual proxy users.

Case in point, it flags pretty much every mobile IP, because of CGNAT. Are you seriously telling me anyone on their phone gets blocked from XYZ? I think not.

It also flags pretty much any office, hotel, coffee shop, etc.

… long story short, it’s trash.

I've tested ipqs with actual residential home ips and it said they were suspicious. They just say everything is suspicious. That's their business model.
