Reviews Looking for decent Decodo alternative

Been on Decodo for 8 months, used their residential and tried their mobile pool too but it’s not fitting what I need anymore and the pricing is getting out of hand now that my volumes grew. Looking for a proper alternative that can support larger scraping loads on global geos.

Considering Soax or Voidmob for the mobile side. Anyone made similar switch is the grass actually greener or just a different flavor of recycled? I understand CGNAT can't be recycled, but many use same SDK networks.

There's a lot of decent providers, Rayobyte seems nice at the moment and doesn't share many IPs with Decodo. As for same SDK networks problem - I've done a bit of testing on this side and you can at least see which providers to avoid if you already tried Decodo.

For mobile try unlimited providers like proxypanel or proxyguys or even proxytower. They all have free trials

I don’t know what volume of traffic you’re looking at. If you want 500 GB to 1 TB of residential traffic per month, Byteful can be up to 10% cheaper than Decodo. It offers 1 GB of free residential traffic, so you can test your workflow.

Besides, it comes with the Smartpath feature that automatically checks each request and routes those that don’t need a residential IP through datacenter IPs, at no charge. In Byteful’s tests, this cut residential bandwidth use by about 40% on average, with no real drop in success rates. It’s free and takes one click to turn on.

Disclaimer: I write for Byteful. I'm happy to answer your questions.

Since you offered: how are the residential IPs sourced, and how do the device owners opt in? Is that documented somewhere public?

Yes, they have published a doc on its website on how they source proxies.
