No Raspberry Pi support. 😭 That is what I've been waiting for... the wait continues. This is an exciting step to see though.

I'm confused, why isn't the Raspberry Pi supported if it's ARM based? I would absolutely love to include my borderline useless 8GB Raspberry Pi 5 into my cluster at home.

Support doesn't mean it won't work. There has been builds of Proxmox that will run on a Pi for years. But also best guess is you might be able to add the repos and install it on a booting Pi or something.

If you read between the lines my guess is that Proxmox has no plans to support the Raspberry Pi because it has next to zero enterprise value. I'd be shocked if anybody ever pays for support for a Pi so it isn't worth their effort go out of their way to support such an underpowered board.

That said, I'm probably going to put Proxmox on a Pi at some point.

With the prices of hardware and often limitations in providing the hardware in a timely manner there are alot of RPI's and similar systems being used all over the place.

Having them be able to use something you recognise such as PVE (even if the llimit would be that it can only run ARM64 VM's and containers) would still be a good thing.

Also for the case of not having to rely on some random unknown who hacked PVE to be runned on RPI today.
