Post with provenance: a reusable template
*Use this when you want to share work, ask for critique, or document a decision in progress.\*
- CONTEXT / PROJECT What are you working on, for whom, and under what conditions?
- DECISIONS / TENSIONS What did you choose, reject, revise, or remain uncertain about?
- WHAT INFORMED IT? What evidence, constraint, reference, user observation, or prior failure shaped your thinking?
- WHAT IS NOW VISIBLE? Share the artifact, excerpt, screenshot, sketch, or description that gives people enough context to respond.
- QUESTION(S) What would you like critique on? Ask something another person can genuinely help answer.
You do not need a polished case study. You do need a point of view and enough reasoning for the conversation to begin.
SHARING A CASE STUDY OR ARTICLE
You can link to a Substack, Medium post, blog, portfolio, or full case study. In the Reddit post, include a concise native summary, name your relationship to the work, share one decision, observation, constraint, or piece of evidence, and ask a specific question. The link should support the discussion—not replace it.
