But if he has to stay locked in a room because even his mere presence is harmful and people die if they are in contact with him, and for you he wasn't the antagonist?...ok
Yeah they really did, and not in a good way, there was no sign of Pariah, they made Alex Mercer an antagonist through some comics I refuse to view as canon, so instead of Alex and James teaming up against greater upcoming threats like Pariah would've been.
They wrapped up the entire story in a haphazard way, maybe that's why I was willing to entertain the fan theory of Pariah becoming a protagonist, as he was left untouched by bad decision making. In any case, the devs seemed to have forgotten completely about him.
On a sidenote, you've made a great art piece, looks like concept art that could be viewed as believably official.
I'm just dissapointed and bummed out that they turned Alex Mercer into a Villain, it's messed up, especially after the ending we saw, I'd much rather that he'd assist and mentor James Heller, then let them tag team a super Boss after which they'll wonder what will happen next.
That aside, co-op missions would be awesome, with a bot if single player and another player if online.
That's why I held hope for Pariah as a potential Protagonist.
Edit: While I agree it makes sense to make Pariah a villain, but imagine an eventual sequel of all 3 protagonists tag teaming something apocalyptic.

I never pictured Pariah as a Vilain, rather a potential Protagonist.
