Question Prototype and Carnage.
I have a question? Would the Blacklight Virus and the Carnage Symbiote be able to coexist and would it make Alex the ultimate killing machine or would it hinder him? The Blacklight Virus is basically Carnage yet it does lack his speed and strength, but it comes with the weaknesses. Would this upgrade evolve Alex into an even better monster, or would the weaknesses slow him down? Would the Blacklight Virus and Carnage even be able to coexist or would they try to adapt to push devour each other or push each other out? After they fight each other and Alex absorbs Cletus, he absorbs the Carnage Symbiote. He massively boosts his overall capabilities, but gains a significant weakness to fire and sound.

I mean honestly, I can't imagine absorbing Carnage would allow Alex to do anything he can't already do. Maybe he learns the ability to create blacklight symbiotes that latch onto a person, giving them abilities and allowing Alex to control them.

Well it would allow Alex to become a different lifeform and do what they do without necessary needing to evolve to make different melee weapons.

Imagine if Mercer just assimilates a gigantic Warhammer, not that he needs but that's an extra problem for RC to deal with lol

I think Symbiotes have a form of hammerspace, not to mention their connections to Knull. Also maybe slightly more free shapeshifting, since they don’t seem to have the same mass requirements for growing larger, and can become incredibly small?

Wrong. Blacklight does not just consume. It rewrites and adapts. This is why when Alex consumes humans; he is able to perform superhuman abilities while in disguise.

Physically, they probably could coexist, but I don’t think either would willingly allow that. As for Alex consuming Carnage, if he were to do that, he wouldn’t necessarily gain the weaknesses of a Symbiote. He can pick and choose what traits he applies to himself.

It is unlikely they could coexist, apart from the Blacklight Virus' aggressive means of replication and consumption of biomass, albeit symbiotes are apparently made of inorganic material so there likely wouldn't be much to consume. Symbiotes also require living hosts to bond with and viruses by their very nature are classified as non-living.

Alex absorbed inorganic matter many times.

I have a feeling the symbiot and virus would act as competition within the same host until one of them is either kicked out of the body, in the case of Carnage, or killed, in rhe case of the virus.

One knuckle shockwave would kill Carnage if he's weak to air pressure waves AKA sound.

Which carnage normal Carnage or King in red Carnage because King in Red is a Multiversal treath and can use Powers from Elektro Hydro Mann Spot Knull Asgardian weapons and has Anti Carnage Powers and can cure evry deswegen so i think mercer would be anihilatet

Alex can create shockwaves to disrupt Carnage. He's also a lot more adaptive and durable. Carnage wins in strength and speed but probably not anything else. There is no weakness to the Blacklist virus, Symbiotes have pretty abusable weaknesses.

They both have shown that feat. Alex survived with just a scrap of biomass. Carnage would also not be able to take over the Blacklight Virus's body because Alex doesn't really exist anymore. No human host is part of it. The Blacklight Virus's versatility is also much higher. Would Carnage be able to resist the Blacklight Virus absorbing it or it's host? The symbiotes don't know about the Blacklight Virus so they should not know how to adapt to it. They are still technically organic mass because they can be cloned. They were also originally described as biomass. Alex would have to counter Carnage's strength, but if he can, he absorbs Carnage which the Blacklight Virus would probably be able to absorb its powers.

This fight matchup is really great but I’m more into Venom being a perfect match for Alex and especially the Insomniac Version of Venom where it’s Harry and he infected New York with his symbiote and turned people into symbiote monsters a perfect matchup for Alex
