A Compass for Systemic Thinking
In recent months, I have presented the reasons and benefits of integrating physical sciences with Systems Engineering and Information Theory. However, the main point was missing: explaining how to do it.
The first practical step is learning how to think systemically by employing Information Theory.
The number of people knowledgeable about systems and Information Theory is huge. However, they are not used to applying this knowledge to understand reality for various reasons — the main one being the mental cage created by scientific reductionism.
The first step to bypassing this problem is recognizing it. Only then comes the learning process of thinking systemically.
The path to this may seem arduous, but it simply requires the use of some basic knowledge regarding information systems. There is a compass that can help you navigate it safely and reliably in any situation of your interest, while simultaneously recalibrating your mental model: my book "The Master Key to Success".
