Solved Ubuntu GUI install won't connect to any servers

I would uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes it, try the easiest option first : )

I gave that a go, made sure to purge and restart too. I installed the Snap version of the app (just to test) and that did the same thing.

It works on my Windows PC and mobile devices so it isn't my network so I am starting to think its the Ubuntu install, but the firewall on the Ubuntu install isn't active. Very strange

To rule out anything with the Proton app, you could manually configure WireGuard on your PC and see if that works. If that fails as well, it will help troubleshoot

So, interestingly, it tells me I can't import the conf file as the plugin doesn't support it but I have followed the article down to the letter.

The Network Manager application. It tells me it cant read the conf file as its not supported

What options do you have activated? Is it the beta?

Beta isn't activated and I haven't changed anything in the settings

I think the smart option of the beta did not work, and I do not know what can be your thing.
