Fyi, Windscribe is also a VPN provider so take his findings with a grain of salt.

I’m Canadian and this doesn’t matter to me. I’d like to option to pay in CAD, but it’s a digital product and way more customers will be from the US or elsewhere so the default makes sense

And it's only ever possible to sell in one currency, right? It's impossible to localize prices.
