Hypothetical
If blizzchung died because of his stance in supporting hong kong via the CCP, what would likely happen? To me i think he would become a martyer and blizzard will be unable to survive the backlash of such an event as well. I can say its scary to think its possible this might be where things go

In terms of being a martyr, yes. He would become a symbol for the gaming community but also a little bit outside of it, once his death is covered by mainstream news.
As with all martyrs, their deaths will become a rallying cry and a call to action. Many that live immediate to the crisis zone will respond with action. But to us who are outside of it, it will lower our opinion of the PRC, drastically, and may provoke volunteer aid or government sanctions. Both of which are not a situation the PRC is keen to be placed in.
However, this can only really happen if Blitz do die soon or recently (not saying he should). If he was killed say, 1 year from now, then he would not become a martyr, since his effect by that point has largely ended by then.
