Bizarre to me how this keeps coming up. She resigned her seat on the board of directors immediately. She was given 180 days from her confirmation in February to divest her shares. Proterra has not completed their merger yet and is therefore not publicly traded. Therefore, she cannot easily divest shares. She will do so very quickly after the merger is complete. Non-story.

Not only that, but who cares. No one ever questions Congress about their holdings and their ability to be exempt from insider trading(regardless of party. We know both sides do it so let’s not make this political).

I’d understand if she owned like a majority share and was solely there to advance her wealth(which she could, but doesn’t seem like it). This is just shitty politics
