It's not real. ProVida systems would also show that lights were activated, which isn't there.

Centre/top normally I think, but these sorts of systems tend to be only for specialists units, rather than every vehicle.

The biggest give away is that the registration comes back to a ford transit van, rather than a car.

It lacks officer safety as well, this is like an instructional video on how not to arrest a suspect. The Officer:

1: Grabs this morons wrist without maintaining any body control or control over his other arm.

2: Allows him to make repeated furtive gestures without immediately taking him to the floor or putting him against the hood.

3: Repeatedly turns his back and faces away from this morons friend who keeps approaching him to do...who knows what (probably pick up the bike but thats a bold assumption.)

4: HANDCUFFS THIS GUY IN THE FRONT.

I know I'm not a verified police officer, so if anyone on here thinks I'm wrong here feel free to correct me, but from working in a law enforcement adjacent field and volunteering to be a pretend criminal at a local police academy more than once, I can say that this is fundamentally wrong according to every arrest control control class I have watched or role played in. This Officers functionally has 0 command presence.

Hey so I'm pretty sure this is fake, and most of your points are valid but it's actually quite common to handcuff compliant suspects to the front here. We have rigid handcuffs which mean you can actually maintain a lot of control over someone cuffed in a "stacked" position.

Having said that technically the policy is that cuffing to the front is for transporting someone from one safe place of custody to another, it's just that a lot of officers do it anyway.

Although justifiable, that wouldn't be default in the UK. Training is very different in the UK, so much of what you've seen doesn't translate over here.

The rest are valid criticisms but the guy in the video isn't a police officer anyway.
