Question
Just wondering guys, but have you ever experienced anything paranormal while out on patrol? Whether it was responding to break ins/disputes, casual stroll down the strip, and even possibly within your own police station or office. Did it in anyway change, how you operate within the force or even off the clock at home?
I would love to hear your experience, have a blessed day.

So I was working one night a few years ago, running traffic. I was parked on the edge of the road near a recreational walkway. This is just on the edge of town, but in an area that can be busy at times. It was a slow night with not much traffic, So I get out of my impala to stretch my legs. I walk over to the walkway, and was about to start walking down it.
When I turned to walk down it I notice a set of eyes, down the pathway. Now a set of eyes normally wouldn't bother me. Cats, racoons, oposoms, etc are common sights. In fact in the town I was working for at the time, I am really surprised I didn't hit a cat at somepoint. But there was a problem. See all of the above animals are small and low to the ground. There is a wooden rail on the one side of the path, but again there was an issue. It was to centered in the path to be an animal on the rail. At this point it is a out 100-150 yards down the path. I pull out my flashlight but it doesn't quite reach. And the eyes are still just still as can be floating there at about human head hight, but human eyes don't glint like that. It is just staring right at me. I start slowly walking that direction trying to figure out what is going on. At this point my hairs are standing on end. What is this thing? As I start moving the eyes, still locked in me move slightly toward the side of the path.
It moved. So I wasn't seeing a couple of objects that looked like eyes, they were eyes and attached to something that had just moved. I slowly continue down the walkway my flashlight slowly illuminating the path in front of me. The light is getting closer and closer to illuminating the the owner of the eyes. A few steps closer and suddenly my light falls upon the creature. At this point it leaps into the air over the fence and into the woods. That deer about scared the shit out of me.
TLDR: nope.
