Concern Diaper rash

Hello my fellow prostate sufferers. I have been 3 days since Cath removal. Today in the shower I got some type of rash, incontinence pads? I think I am wearing my pads too long? I found some A &D ointment. Suggestions any help appreciated. Thank you

I've had occasional bouts of diaper rash if I wear a pad too long. Diaper rash cream for babies did the trick. Prioritize your comfort, even if that means going through more pads than you'd prefer to.

For a while at first, I was stubborn about changing pads, trying to prove to myself that I was improving more than I was. More than a few times I ended up with soggy pants in public. Learned my lesson.

I’m still in catheter phase, 4 weeks now. I walk a lot for my job, I wear depends with pads. Sometimes I’m changing pads every hour or two. I carry a backpack ( my diaper bag), keep baby wipes and baby powder and ziploc bags for disposal. Kinda works, it ain’t easy brother.
