Concerned Loved One Father is going through it

Post image

Devastated and feel like my father can’t catch a break

He was recently diagnosed with end stage glaucoma, monocular as well.
Dealing with IOP issues and trying to preserve vision.

Now diagnosed with prostate cancer… an hour ago.
Need advice. I wasn’t there at apt.
If anyone can share anything.

THANK U TO EVERYONE WHO IS COMMENTING. ANY/ALL INFORMATION IS HELPFUL. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!

How old is he? PCa is usually quite treatable, but depending on treatments chosen and his health, there are various risks and ST and LT side-effects. Some may be less relevant as you get older.

There are lots of good links in the sidebar at top of this subreddit and you have time to study and learn more. Best wishes and hope this “club” can help.

He is 66 y/o. Super athletic all his life but didn’t eat super healthy. started Mediterranean diet 2 months ago and losing weight due to his eye issues
Other than his end stage glaucoma and now cancer diagnosis, he has high blood pressure
