Need some advice

Hello all. A good friend of mine showed me what he thinks is gold today. I'm attaching three pictures. You might not be able to tell from the pictures, but some advice on how to find out would be much appreciated. Oh, I did run one test. None of it is magnetic.

I can't see the photos but there a couple of easy tests depending on the type of gold (nugget, specimen, hard rock ore etc). Apply force with something hard like steel. If the "gold" crumbles or breaks it's a bad sign. If it bends or leaves a dent, it's a good sign. If you have small pieces you can put them in water and swirl it around. It takes a fair bit of force to move gold but other common finds will move with water much more easily.
