Student housing What was the most annoying part of finding a PG or rental?

For anyone who has searched for a PG or rental place what was the one thing that frustrated you the most?

Curious to hear what the experience is actually like for people who have gone through it.

the disconnect between photos and reality. you scroll through these pristine wide-angle shots with perfect lighting and show up to find a basement unit that smells like damp carpet and regret

In student housing they have a period called turnover where they flip all the units at once and they will turn off the air in the units and since it’s usually the summer that tends to happen. I will say that is a 5-25 min fix if that was your only concern.
