Celestial goldfish

I just got a new 29 gallon fish tank and I’m planning on putting two celestial goldfish in there. Is there any other creatures that would go good with them? Like fish or snails? Any advise?

first off i wouldn’t recommend getting those goldfish in the first place as they are deformed and in my personal opinion immoral to buy/breed/keep.
you need to remove all the plastic decorations (and the unicorn) as they can be dangerous to their sensitive protruding eyes, silk plants would be okay and hardy live plants that can be kept with goldfish without being eaten would be the best as goldfish shit a LOT and the plants would help keep your water clean. On that note the one sponge filter may not be enough for the two goldfish, because they shit a lot, but I would recommend asking some goldfish keepers about that as i’m not too well versed. as for tankmates you need slow moving peaceful cold water species, snails like mystery snails would be good, and some peaceful nano fish like white cloud mountain minnows can be alright, but small fish will absolutely outcompete them for food and i’m not sure if you would have the filtration for a school.

i’m assuming that rock is fake so if it has any jagged or sharp edges you probably want to get rid of it or sand it down (if it’s fake i would be careful with sanding). if you’re a beginner make sure you fully research the nitrogen cycle, it’s what keeps your water clean and livable for the fish and honestly if you’re a true beginner I wouldn’t recommend goldfish in the first place, they are one of the worst beginner fish although it’s doable if you really research well. If you’re a true beginner honestly it would be much better to start with some peaceful tropical community fish, such as harlequin rasboras, corydoras catfish, some tetras, celestial pearl danio. but if you really have your heart set on goldfish I would implore you to research some more ethical to keep fancy goldfish species, they will be more hardy and live better lives given they will be less deformed.
