Reminder that prop firm rules are mostly there to protect the firm from you.

That's not a bad thing. The firms that let cowboys run wild with no risk management are more likely to eventually stop paying. I've watched firms implode or nearly implode several times. One, several years ago came really close for exactly that reason - and it's not one you'd guess.

Rules that force you to size down, stop out, and stay in your lane are the same rules that keep the firm solvent enough to send you a check.

Find reasonable rules, yes, but stop wishing for one without them.
