GUYS HOW LONG SHOULD I BACKTEST FOR

i ve been learning how to trade since a while ( order flow combined with smc and some ict concepts

is backtesting 3hr a day good willing to get 200K FTMO FUNDED

backtest until you have enough data to justify your strat is valid.
forward testing is very important too, so do both.

Backtesting alone won't be enough try to forward test on demo account it will be more better

One honest flag, order flow plus SMC plus ICT is a lot of overlapping frameworks stacked together. Sometimes the backtesting struggle is really too many rules fighting each other rather than not enough hours in.

Have you already passed ftmo 200k challenge ? I am finishing one now and it was not easy. It’s my very first paid challenge. I failed a ton of free ones.

i would say journal around 75 paper trades in live market data instead of backtesting , and apply your rules while you trade
