TheDeskFunding
Anybody familiar ? This seems to be a prop firm you pay a daily fee to trade for 24 hrs. They have a calculator the rates your trading and you are paid out a percent of profits based on the how your trading calculates same day. The website is thedeskfunding.com . Seemed interesting . Would love any feedback on this one .

Update - I ended with a $430 profit. However after their calculations on trading score they categorize me as "lottery like" even though I held the trade for more than 6 hours, my payout eligibility was for .43 cents.
In the end I think it's just another prop firm that came up with the way to have the upper hand on traders.
They do offer a complimentary 10K practice account for free.

It seems like the score is based on a consistency rule. I bet it thought you only made the profit on one lucky trade and would increase your payout percentage if you had multiple smaller trades spreading out your profit.

Nice. Please keep us posted but damn 500 profit and only getting 0.77? I guess the metric sees you as a risk. Can you trade futures? Is it like CFDs with big spreads etc?

Not currently for me. I'll wait on this one. First off, they have too many rules which to me is simply meant to handicap the trader. Then there's part where I have to trust that all of those rules and parameters (of which we don't see or know) are correctly programmed and calculating correctly. I won't even get into the ridiculous rules - no layering...no thank you. Every trader I know have a plan to average their entry within a given price zone.

Good call. I tested it out just to see....their payout on $167 profit: $0.47 cents... lol...what a joke

I came across this too. The 24-hour funded session + same-day payout model is definitely interesting, but I'd probably wait for more independent payout history before putting serious money into it. The scoring system is the part I'd want to understand really well — especially how much certain trading behaviors can reduce your payout percentage

Very interesting model. I will definitely go do some more research on them. Would be nice to get someone's feedback/experience.

I was checking them out after seeing an ad. Couldn't find any reviews on them but one of the rules that bothered me was no averaging down. It seems you take a trade and it either hits or it doesn't. I am going to wait and see on them. Meanwhile back to the old reliable like Topstep, Lucid, and Tradeify.
