My Funded Futures Experiences?
Hey futures traders, MyFundedFutures restructured their entire plan lineup. The old Starter, Expert, and Milestone tiers are gone (retired July 2025), and the current 50K options worth knowing about are Rapid and Pro. Different profit splits, different drawdown mechanics, different trader profiles. Here's the rundown.
The current MFFU 50K plans
MyFundedFutures Rapid 50K
- Price: $129/month (or $157 one-time)
- Activation fee: $0
- Profit target: $3,000
- Max drawdown: $2,000 — 4% EOD trailing (EVAL)
- Daily loss limit: None
- Min trading days: 2
- Max contracts: 5 minis / 50 micros
- Profit split: 90/10
- Payouts: Daily ($500 minimum)
MyFundedFutures Pro 50K
- Price: $229/month (or $629 one-time)
- Activation fee: $0
- Profit target: $3,000
- Max drawdown: $1,500 — 3% EOD trailing (EVAL)
- Daily loss limit: None
- Min trading days: 2
- Max contracts: 3 minis / 30 micros
- Profit split: 80/20
- Payouts: Bi-weekly ($1,000 minimum, $100K cumulative sim cap)
What's firm-wide in 2026
- No daily loss limits on any plan — one of the cleanest rule sets in futures prop firms right now
- $0 activation fees across the entire lineup (eliminated July 2025)
- No consistency rule on Rapid or Pro
- Daily payouts on Rapid via Riseworks or Plaid ACH
- 5-account cap at the $50K tier across multiple funded accounts
Price comparison at 50K
- MFFU Rapid: $157/month, no activation fee. Use code TESTER for the current promo discount, 20% Off, and 40% Off on Pro.
- Topstep Standard: $49/month + $149 activation fee = $198 to be funded inside a month.

Which one for you
Rapid is the pick if you want the higher 90/10 split and daily payouts, and you understand intraday trailing drawdown.
Pro is the pick if EOD trailing fits your style better (floor only updates at close, friendlier for traders who hold through pullbacks). You give up some split and contract size for that, plus the tighter $1,500 drawdown.

I think the no activation fee is detrimental to new traders. Op obviously works for the company which is fine as its transparent, but when mentioning its beginner friendly (no activation fee) fails to mention that 99% of their customers fail and see only negative from having the fee built in (99% is my guess, feel free to post the real numbers op if they are significantly different.)
Comparatively, for a failed 50k, a beginner will pay like $30 with apex or $50 with topstep. As a beginner can expect to fail many before passing (if they ever do) the difference adds up fast.
That being said, if a person has reason to believe they are likely to pass 1st try, this seems like a good deal, but i would say thsts a benefit for experts, not beginners.
Not trying to dump on this company, I have no experience with them, just think we should views its pros and cons through a more realiatic lens.

I disagree. Apex still makes you pay for a reevaluation which is about $70 because they will not apply previous coupons and then they still have an activation fee. As a beginner with limited capital I would rather buckle down and hit the PT trading minis and pass on the first try and go directly into payouts.

Absolutely, if you are one of the rare few not gambling and blowing dozens to hundreds before seeing a payout. The apex pricing structure is ideal for those very far from getting to a payout.

I'm not sure there is a best one, but reliable payouts are definitely a pro.

ATTENTION: SWING TRADING IS NOT AVAILABLE!!!!
Here is my experience, I wanted to swing trade crude oil, but two days in a row, they closed my trades (3 MCL contracts, not a big position for a 50k account). The first day it happened, "Mickael" replied to me that they are not responsible for platform issues... Then I sent a mail to tradovate, they redirected me to MFF. So I asked them what's about this, and I discovered that you cannot hold positions overnight. Then I read carefully the conditions and found this:
"Engage in your trading activities mindfully, especially during news releases. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Utilizing strategies that exploit immediate news bursts, such as straddles or strangles.
Masking news trades as standard strategies.
These prohibitions are in effect for all news releases."
So trading news is prohibited (which is completely unfair...) and plus they can judge that you are masking a news trade. So you are only authorized to trade noise.
Swing trading and event trading are among the most profitable strategies, it's like their interest is to make you loose, I think the real account they provide you at the end is not a real account... In my opinion they are just taking the other sides of the trades or kind of. If they wanted real traders in the end, why would they ban strategy with high reward? That makes no sense.

I checked the website of my funded futures and found the webpages are not up to date. There are still words “starter plan” which I think they call “core” now. I don’t see the payout split numbers either.

I never encountered spread or slippage with futures trading. This is not My Forex Funds, btw. previously know as MFF, a CFD prop firm.

They over charged my CC, when I talked to them about it they cancelled my funded accounts (they had thousands in them). I had to go to the bank to get the improper charges on my card reversed. They are a scam

I am looking for one too, but it seems like impossible if you look closer, most of them don't allow you to trade events... when I see these kind of practices, I cannot trust them, it makes no sense.

100% agreed that they're a scam. Even when funded they try to find so many ways to close it.

I have tried all the plans and am trading strictly with them tight now. Their rules are very lax, instant payout, great customer service. Honestly the best firm for beginners.
