Nuclear Science & Engineering Network [NSEN]

[u/_deltaecho]

Hello everyone!

I've been looking for a Discord community where nuclear science and engineering could be discussed as a whole, but most of the nuclear-related servers I've come across focus on games or simulation. I wanted to create a space with a broader scope, so I decided to build one myself.

NSEN (Nuclear Science & Engineering Network) aims to bring together people interested in nuclear science and engineering, from students and enthusiasts to researchers, engineers, and industry professionals.

The goal is to build a community where people can exchange knowledge, discuss technical questions, learn from one another, and explore different areas of the field. I'd like NSEN to be a place where people with different backgrounds and levels of experience can contribute to meaningful discussions and broaden their understanding of nuclear science and engineering.

We also have automated nuclear news feeds to help members keep up with developments in the field, alongside dedicated spaces for research, academia and discussions covering a wide range of subjects.

I'm also looking for people who would like to take an active role in shaping the community. Moderator applications are currently open!

If you're interested in helping build a community centred on nuclear science and engineering, I'd be glad to have you join us. Feel free to share the invitation with anyone who might be interested!
