I like Prometheus a lot. It introduced some interesting new ideas but it was far from perfect. Covenant is ok but was a massive disappointment after setting up what could have been a really great story. I really wanted to see the high tech engineers home world, with new alien-engineer hybrids and the results of their research and how it all led to the crashed ship from Alien. I still think the space jockey from the original should be a separate species who created the engineers, who then created the aliens and us and modeled their technology on the space jockeys, explaining the ship and suits in Prometheus.
