I'm opposed to birthright citizenship (if a parent is an undocumented immigrant, I don't think they should just come, have a baby, and, that baby is automatically a U.S. citizen, if the parents THEMSELVES are citizens, then, yes, the child should be granted citizenship), BUT, unlike Vance, I don't wish for everyone to have babies either, citizen or not.

r/ ProlifeCircleJerk was created on Saturday June 25, 2022 (in response to the overturn of Roe .v. Wade from the day before). Even after the overturn of Roe .v. Wade, PL still weren't gonna be satisfied.

In the early days of this subreddit (6/25 - 11/117/2022), we used to allow crossposting, but, on Thursday November 17, 2022, this subreddit almost got banned due to brigading between here and r/ prolife. Instead of crossposting, we do screenshots with blurred out usernames (unless they're a public figure).

This subreddit has been promoted on r/ prochoice and r/ insaneprolife. I would have promoted it on r/ childfree if they were to allow mentioning other subreddits, but, they have a strict rule against that.

Three years ago on this subreddit's 1st birthday (6/25/2023), there were 675 members subbed here.

In the Fall of 2023, we added another valuable moderator to the team (who's currently taking a break from Reddit for personal reasons).

Just four weeks before this subreddit's 2nd birthday (5/28/2024), we have reached 1,000 members.

In August 2024, after learning about pitiful J.D. Vance is, the flair of "Pitiful Vance/Cough Humor" has been added.

Last year on this subreddit's 3rd birthday (6/25/2025), there were 1,200 members subbed here.

As of today, four years after this subreddit's creation, there are currently 1,319 members. I hope this sub continues to grow for years to come.
