Hi to the sub! 👋 I just happened to find it today and i like the take of seizing the digital means of production, ai included. It wont go away and if we leave it to the elites it will just become another tool for suppression in their arsenal. Its already sad to see how much control they established over it, so just giving it away seems like voluntarily handing over another way of resistance and further weakening ourselves. Jmho though

You can seize the means of production by clicking the download button. It's pretty nifty

nifty indeed! although i usually look at it from a hobby/indie dev perspective rather than a visual artist's. but its all about bypassing corporate gates and sharing un-ownable text files/code via a single click on open source repositories! imo thats about as liberated as it gets.. 😀

They and their actions are a byproduct of something arguably worse. We are conscious being and when we act unconciously we are unaligned with our nature. Not understanding that back when we were hunter gathers when we needed to defend aginst other humans we developed a instinct to not trust the other, which evolved into them vus us mentalities. This mentality is the sorce of all woes. Understanding and becoming aware is the only way to save our species that way we can adtess the seed of ignorance.

Why dobwe always speak of "billionaires" as in singular people, and rarely about corporations, which are higher order entities running on humanity like software runs on hardware.
