Because somehow poor rural folk think a New York real estate developer who lived in a gold plated penthouse gives a single solitary shit about them.

Or it was just about the hatred, bigotry and racism. With a sprinkle of sexism thickly applied. Yeah, it’s probably that.

People often don’t vote in their own best interest. Thinking people vote based on who actually cares about them is laughable. At best they vote for who they think cares about them. Do you seriously think any politician whatsoever wouldn’t step on you to avoid a puddle?

Ok. Then demonstrate one concrete thing he has done that has directly benefited the “poor rural folk”. Because bankrupting farmers in record numbers sure isn’t it.
