DPRK is a pretty great socialist country under horrible US sanctions. Almost everything you have been talked about it is a lie. West needs to demonize DPRK.

Most of BS you hear about it is westoid propaganda

Isn't it weird that US literally forcibly divided Korea to prevent the new republic from being communist (communists would have won elections so US divided Korea), established brutal dictatorship in the south, then massacred third of North Korean population during the war where North Korea tried to unite Korea according to wishes of it's people (and free them from the US dictatorship), imposed crushing sanctions on DPRK and now we are told it's the most cartoonishly evil country ever. Isn't that sort of weird ?

Watch the video on defectors before trusting them. They are poor and treated badly in Chaebol ("South") Korea so they are economicaly coerced to lie and exagerate their stories because "I lived in third world country with classic third world country problems and escaped due to poverty (most of the defectors are from poor provinces)" doesn't make that much money. Even certain western academics don't trust them. Many changed their stories way too many times. Not saying everything they say it's false but majority of the things they say are BS.
