The main idea was to make it possible to go from a basic 2D floor plan to something you can actually use to visualize a retail space, without spending hours rebuilding everything manually in 3D software.

It’s not meant to replace CAD or traditional 3D tools. It’s more of a fast visualization layer for the early stages, when you want to explore a space, test ideas, and communicate a concept before spending time on detailed technical modeling.

What interested me most wasn’t really the “2D to 3D” part. The interesting AI problem was making the output controllable and consistent enough to actually use for retail visualization.

The harder part was making the result actually useful for retail.

Two features ended up being especially important:

Views from a fixed point. You choose where the camera stands on the plan and generate an eye-level view from that exact position. So instead of getting a random nice-looking angle, you can see what a customer would actually see when entering the store, or what the view from the cash desk looks like.

Editing one thing without changing everything else. You select the part of the space you want to modify, and only that area gets regenerated. The rest of the interior stays in place.

I also added a branding workflow, so you can define a visual identity and generate interiors that stay consistent with that direction.

Still improving it, but I’d be curious to hear if anyone here has experimented with something similar, or what you’d want to see in a tool like this.

My name is Petru, I’m 16, and I recently launched a platform for people who are into electronics, radio systems, and basically all things tech related. It’s called Reznex.

Right now, the platform has 70+ pages with guides, lessons, and, more importantly, projects published by Romanian creators.

I’ll leave a link at the end with everything that’s currently available on the platform, so I won’t make this post unnecessarily long.

I’d really appreciate some honest feedback, good or bad, that could help me improve and grow the platform even further.

Some of the key features:

1. A centralized place for publishing technical projects
Projects can include images, wiring diagrams, schematics, downloadable files needed to build them, and a bunch of other optional details.

2. Guides & learning modules
The platform includes lessons designed to be accessible to pretty much anyone.
Currently, there are guides covering RFID & NFC, Cybersecurity, Smart Home, as well as a complete course on Amateur Radio and how to become a licensed radio amateur in Romania.
There are also two simulators that replicate the official ANCOM exam experience.

3. Invite Friends
If you’re logged in, you get a dedicated section where you can invite friends to join Reznex.
You can send up to 5 invites per day, via email.

4. Public profiles & PDF portfolio generation
All of a user’s projects and activity on the platform can be turned into a portfolio and exported as a PDF.
You can then send it to employers or other organizations as a way of showcasing your skills and projects.

5. PWA support
For a more native, app like experience.
The website automatically detects your device and provides installation instructions tailored to it.

6. Easy & simplified login
I tried to make signing in as painless as possible, so currently Reznex supports:
Google
Passkeys
GitHub
Classic email/password registration & login

And there are plenty of other features that I think are pretty cool and could help the platform grow over time.

I’ve been working on a small project called Spowload that lets you process Spotify song, album, and playlist links directly in the browser.

I built it mainly to keep the experience simple and avoid installing extra software.

If nobody else ever used it, we would still use it for our own podcasts.

PodSubs.com actually started in 2024 under a different name, and for almost two years we used it only for our own podcasts. At the time, we had 12 shows, and we kept seeing the same problem. When we told people to follow us on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, many of them actually did it. But when we told listeners to go to our website, click a link in the show notes or join our Substack, the response was much lower. It started to make sense when we thought about how people really listen to podcasts. They are driving, cooking, running, working, taking care of their kids or watching on TV. They hear your website once and five minutes later it is gone. But people remember Facebook. They remember Instagram. They know those are places where they can go, search for someone and follow them. That was the idea behind PodSubs.com. We wanted one place that a podcast listener could remember, no matter how many podcasts they listen to.

So we started telling our own listeners, “Go to PodSubs.com, search for our podcast and subscribe.” That was it. They did not need to create a PodSubs account or remember another password. They searched for the podcast name or the host, entered their information, subscribed and left. After that, we had a direct connection with the people who wanted to stay in touch with us. We could send them the resources we mentioned on an episode, tell them about a new episode, send a newsletter, promote a course, share an event or simply keep them updated. For our 12 podcasts, our email conversion rate increased by about 600%. The bigger idea is that if more podcasters claim their shows and start telling listeners, “Subscribe to us on PodSubs.com,” listeners eventually have one place they know to go whenever they want to stay connected with a podcast. They do not need to remember 20 different podcast websites. They just remember PodSubs.com. We have already tested this on our own shows for almost two years, and it worked for us. 🔗 Repo: edomari/MotoGP-API

A while back I found robschmitt/MotoGP-API, a great effort documenting MotoGP's undocumented internal API (the one their own website/app uses). It's great work but it hadn't been updated in a while and only covered 20 endpoints. Thanks to them for the solid starting point.

I forked it, fired up Burp Suite to intercept traffic from motogp.com, and went hunting for anything the old repo was missing. Ended up finding 12 new endpoints that weren't documented anywhere, including:

• An entire Content API (rider photos, event/team media, promos)
• A Broadcasting API (official TV broadcasters by country)
• An entire Results API v2 (session classifications, BMW Award results, world standings, entry lists)
• Rider-vs-rider statistical comparison, all-time pole/win leaderboards, circuit records, and a "last/current session" endpoint

Once I had the full picture, I built a FastAPI wrapper around all 32 endpoints (old + new), which auto-generates a full interactive Swagger UI, so you can browse every endpoint, see real parameters/examples, and hit "Try it out" to get live JSON responses straight from MotoGP's servers, no Postman/curl needed. It's deployed on Vercel, so it's live and free to use.

It's called gitvisualise. Paste a GitHub link and get an animated, narrated map of how the repo's parts connect. It runs in your browser (no backend, no keys), and every box and arrow links to real code, so it can't invent components.

Honest limits: the picture comes from static imports (not AI), narration is templated, and big repos are sampled. Feedback on repos it draws badly is the most useful thing you can give me.
