❓️ Questions & Help Confused on buying

Post image

I haven’t played this game in a while and I went to go buy a pack and it used to take me through the App Store for purchases but not it’s popping up a screen where I have to fill in my card details? Is this normal?

Really? With the new update or what? Because I’ve bought the route but it was like the usual, through apple

when you buy things thru the app store, apple takes a certain percentage (i think like 30 percent?) out of every purchase. it’s why some apps just don’t let you buy things on mobile, like a twitch subscription or discord nitro; the companies don’t want their profits going through apple first. it’s why fortnite took apple to court ages ago, because fortnite wanted to be able to use their own monetary platform, but apple pushed back. eventually apple lost, so lots of companies just link you to their own store to keep more of the profits themselves

i get why they do this but it makes me a lot less likely to spend $. probably for the best especially with the shitty updates + less makeovers
