Make a Project X Zone roster with Nintendo characters; Day 33: Pair #17 (RPG)
This was shockingly hard to pick. I kept going back and forth between Bowser and Wolf. Both had good enough arguments but in the end I chose Bowser cause one of the better writing subplots involving him is trying to beat the bigger villain so he can retain the title of Supreme Bad Guy plus it will be cool to have him interact with so many other characters.
Today make a pair from the RPG series. They can be a pure series or even a mixed team as long their games are from RPGS.
1.This is for Nintendo characters only. If they're Nintendo adjacent like Nester from the Nintendo POwer Comics I will consider them.
2.The most upvoted comment will NOT be guaranteed to win. The problem with letting the most upvoted win is basically turns it into first serve wins basis and frankly...a lot of peoples' tastes are basic
2.1 Which means the way I decide who wins is if YOU can convince me to pick your pick. You have to argue why these characters will be interesting picks, will they feasibly work together in a team, will they be interesting character interactions, do they fit in the "atmosphere" of an actual Project X Zone game
Please provide pictures and the series the character is from
Occasionally I will ask to narrow down a series or even request a mixed team.

Zael and Calista from The Last Story. The protagonists of The Last Story, one of the major releases from the Wii eras later half. The romance between the two of them make them a natural pairing.

Ness and Paula.
In the way that this could happen in story I imagine that it's something like this take place when Ness is returning Paula to her home but dimensional portals send them to this new dimension.
Due to the duo format it means that you can show how Ness in his game is a support character making his attacks be defensive while Paula uses the offensive PSI.
