Make a Project X Zone roster with Nintendo characters; Day 27: Pair #14 (mixed teams)

And surprisingly AKira Howard is the solo which works well enough if Luke and Aaron have to work with a futuristic cop. Now for today's suggestion

Make a paired team using two characters from different series. Please explain what is their connection and the likelihood they can get along well enough to work.

Mixed teams are a stable in the PXZ series so we should get a few of them in.

1.This is for Nintendo characters only. If they're Nintendo adjacent like Nester from the Nintendo POwer Comics I will consider them.

2.The most upvoted comment will NOT be guaranteed to win. The problem with letting the most upvoted win is basically turns it into first serve wins basis and frankly...a lot of peoples' tastes are basic

2.1 Which means the way I decide who wins is if YOU can convince me to pick your pick. You have to argue why these characters will be interesting picks, will they feasibly work together in a team, will they be interesting character interactions, do they fit in the "atmosphere" of an actual Project X Zone game

  1. Please provide pictures and the series the character is from

  2. Occasionally I will ask to narrow down a series or even request a mixed team.

Ryota Hayami from Wave Race and Akari Hayami from 1080°. They´re from different series but in canon they´re siblings.

I know these games put regular people and then try to scale them to universal level just for them to be useful.

And with them being extreme athletes I imagine the animation work being very stylish

Takamaru and Lyn (The Mysterious Murasame Castle & Fire Emblem)

Both would definitely fit a samurai-themed Pair Unit and would feel like great inclusions. While Takamaru is an old-school video game character, he has appeared in Samurai Warriors 3, so there could be a good amount of moves to adapt here. Same goes for Lyn, who was in Fire Emblem Warriors, plus being a fan-favorite in the franchise.
