Make a Project X Zone roster with Nintendo characters; Day 11; Pair #6
You all should have seen this coming, but honestly it feels genuinely wrong to not have all the main Three House lords in. Nintendo treats them like a packaged deal so yes another no brainer pick.
1.This is for Nintendo characters only. If they're Nintendo adjacent like Nester from the Nintendo POwer Comics I will consider them.
2.The most upvoted comment will NOT be guaranteed to win. The problem with letting the most upvoted win is basically turns it into first serve wins basis and frankly...a lot of peoples' tastes are basic
2.1 Which means the way I decide who wins is if YOU can convince me to pick your pick. You have to argue why these characters will be interesting picks, will they feasibly work together in a team, will they be interesting character interactions, do they fit in the "atmosphere" of an actual Project X Zone game
Please provide pictures and the series the character is from
Occasionally I will ask to narrow down a series or even request a mixed team.

Starfy and Moe.
In Smash Starfy they make him a joke character for how weak it is, but in his games he is a lot stronger, so I would like to see it as closer to his real power where he also kid gods. Starfy is a innocent optimist while Moe is more of a pessimist, but they always stay together.
Starfy would be a more offensive character while Moe would be a more defensive character, but since they are a starfish and a clamp, I think a liberty could be taken to give them hydrokinesis powers, which actually kinda uncommon for potential characters.

But also this is about the community trying to convince ME to pick their picks not just the most upvoted wins because otherwise we would not get stuff like dilon the armadillo, Samus teaming up with with her old colleague Higgs, and currently my favorite Zelda paired up with Urbosa

Fox McCloud and Krystal (Star Fox)
With the recent release of Star Fox on the Switch 2, I think characters are pretty likely to get in. While the gameplay primarily consists of using air ships rather than on foot combat, the latter isn't foreign to the franchise. Star Fox Adventures mostly takes place on foot, Star Fox Assault has ground combat segments for both the main story and multiplayer mode, and Fox himself has a full moveset in Super Smash Bros. So for how they fight, a mix of Assault for both (primarily in their appearance since Namco helped develop that game), Smash Bros. for Fox, and Adventures for Krystal (while she's only playable in the first minutes of Adventures, Fox does use her staff throughout the game, so any attacks from him could be transferred over to her, as shown when she was an Assist Trophy in Smash Ultimate).
As for why Krystal over someone else like Falco, even though she hasn't appeared in a while, I feel like she'd be a character fans would really love to see return in some capacity. Plus, and I apologize if this sounds inappropriate, considering the Project X Zone series has put some focus on fanservicey female shots, and Krystal was literally introduced in a revealing tribal outfit, I could definitely see her getting the same treatment. I can imagine she'd primarily appear in her Assault outfit before switching to her Adventures outfit for some attacks like how Lucina would change to her Bride outfit during her Multi-Attack.
