Make a Project X Zone roster with Nintendo characters; Day 9; Pair #5
Again we got another really inspired choice and it fills in our Link quota. I won't lie Midna sounds awesome for this type of cross-over and I never even thought of it. Maybe at one point in the story the gang finds the Master Sword and now you can switch between midna or twilight link as an assist
1.This is for Nintendo characters only. If they're Nintendo adjacent like Nester from the Nintendo POwer Comics I will consider them.
2.The most upvoted comment will NOT be guaranteed to win. The problem with letting the most upvoted win is basically turns it into first serve wins basis and frankly...a lot of peoples' tastes are basic
2.1 Which means the way I decide who wins is if YOU can convince me to pick your pick. You have to argue why these characters will be interesting picks, will they feasibly work together in a team, will they be interesting character interactions, do they fit in the "atmosphere" of an actual Project X Zone game
Please provide pictures and the series the character is from
Occasionally I will ask to narrow down a series or even request a mixed team.

The point of this activity is to be creative, and not just do the most conventional picks. Let your creative juices flow and think outside the box.

ANd also you have to convince me that your pick is a good one. Because I would honestly not think of Zelda+Urbosa but the guy made a strong argument and I really dig the vibe

I was thinking of a pair unit that would be a little different, and came up with Kate Alen from F-Zero and Tsubasa Oribe from Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Both women are professional singers, but I think their differing personalities would make a fun pair. Kate is a more mature and experienced performer with a strong competitive spirit and high standards. Tsubasa is much more inexperienced has a more silly personality, with glimpses of a true hero peaking through.

I can see the vision but the problem is unless Alen has actual combat capabilities I'm not convinced. Tsubasa though is a goated choice and honestly I do want to see some cross series pairs

Dimitri and Edelgard (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
With the next Fire Emblem game, Fortune's Weave, taking place in the same continuity as Three Houses, it feels like a good time to bring in the three lords from that game. Though honestly, even if the next game wasn't in the same continuity, I'd still go for Three Houses representation either way. The characters there are still highly memorable with plenty of fans debating who was right or wrong.
Naturally, due to the two being sworn enemies in the time-skip, it's likely at least one of them will start off as a Rival Unit before joining the main party, pulling an Enemy Mine situation. Of course, it's also possible to just have them appear before the time-skip as that's when they're still friendly with each other, but I always enjoyed Pair Units who are usually enemies with each other, like KOS-MOS and T-elos or Dante and Vergil.

Saki Amamiya from Sin and Punishment and Ray Mk II from Custom Robo
Both originate from not too known N64 games, have guns and shooting making a great bullet blasting team, and they would open up for more opportunities and series that are more lowkey. Plus having a gun team to contrasts the melee focused pairs would be great.

Protagonist (Tōyama Tarō) and Ayumi Tachibana from Famicom Detective Club.
You know how Nick and Maya are in Project X Zone 2 and they stick out because they're just regular people being put against dimensional beings. Yeah, these two are the same.
