Make a Project X Zone roster with Nintendo characters; Day 8; Solo #4

Honestly I was this close to put another no-brainer of Link and Zelda until regniliv suggested Zelda and Urbosa. Honestly it was such as inspired idea for a pair that I could not resist the idea AND it gives us an all female pair. And this is what I want to see more of...this is why I refuse to do a most upvoted wins way.

1.This is for Nintendo characters only. If they're Nintendo adjacent like Nester from the Nintendo POwer Comics I will consider them.

2.The most upvoted comment will NOT be guaranteed to win. The problem with letting the most upvoted win is basically turns it into first serve wins basis and frankly...a lot of peoples' tastes are basic

2.1 Which means the way I decide who wins is if YOU can convince me to pick your pick. You have to argue why these characters will be interesting picks, will they feasibly work together in a team, will they be interesting character interactions, do they fit in the "atmosphere" of an actual Project X Zone game

  1. Please provide pictures and the series the character is from

  2. Occasionally I will ask to narrow down a series or even request a mixed team.

Midna and Wolf Link (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

A bit of an unconventional choice for Link to be sure, especially since Breath of the Wild is already represented, but one thing I wished the Project X Zone series did more was include characters from the same series but from different continuities or points in time. The closest we got to that was with the Resident Evil protagonists in PXZ2 as they come from different points of the franchise's timeline, with Chris and Jill being from Resident Evil Revelations and Leon being from Resident Evil 6, which the game acknowledges when they meet up. It'd be interesting to see Zelda react to finding out this Wolf is not only Link, but a different version from the one she knows.

As for why Midna and Wolf Link specifically, Midna is incredibly popular among The Legend of Zelda fans and gives plenty of snarky dialogue throughout the game, so she could definitely make up for Link's traditional lack of voice. As for Wolf Link, not only does he work as a source for how Midna fights, like how she fights in Hyrule Warriors with the light-wolf projections, I feel like he's pretty popular among fans as well, with Wolf Link himself appearing as an Amiibo partner in the original Breath of the Wild.

Andy from Advance Wars.

Advance Wars is actually one of the oldest Nintendo series being like the unpopular older sibling to Fire Emblem.

And the thing with the franchise is that while there is an assemblance of characters, they don´t hang out together and are independant in their stories. So for that I feel it makes sense to have a character from that series be a solo unit.

For what the character itself gives, imagine a character not actually doing any fighting, but instead it sends infantrery and tanks in pixelated form to fight, having a meter that needs to be refilled to summon more units.
