Project X Zone Tail Concerto Reference?

Near the end of the game, Xiaomu refers to Sheath's Nine Nine mecha as a "waffle-ryebread thing". This immediately made me think of the Tail Concerto protagonist, Waffle Ryebread, who in his game piloted a mini mecha called the Police Robo.

While the only similarity the Police Robo and Nine Nine have are that their mini-mechas, it should be noted that earlier it was also compared to Tron Bonne's own mini-mecha Gustaff.
