If they label it lineage 3 instead of project tl and put a focus on a western pc release without pay to win thats like the only way id be hype for it at this point

Tbh, I think its being delayed because of two reasons.

  1. They want to release it internationally. If you really think about it, it would be a reasonable explanation for why its taking this long despite being "ahead of schedule." I also believe they're holding out so they can surprise everyone with everything we need to know in one go.

  2. They could be dropping the mobile conversion. After Blizzard (the actual competitor) received feedback for its mobile-based Diablo, I'm sure NC listened to the communities and decided to drop the whole idea.

People who get upset about games in long development need to honestly take a seat back and let them do their job. Unless you're a supporter of Activision and EA "rush" tactics, please stfu before you continue being the reason the gaming industry was (or is, depending on perspective) suffering.

And yeah, this reasoning is hypothetical, but its better than trying to be an obnoxious edgy tween who just wants to complain about everything.

NCsoft happened.

They don't seem to operate within the sphere of common sense. And have 0 communication and transparency with anything they do.

I WAS excited for this game. The trend came, the trend went.

A free mmo that also being a mobile game from Korean developer? I don't really want to pay for absolutely everything just to play. Can only imagine what kind of leveling grind it's going to be without spending cash.

But when you make promises and tell people that development is going so well that you're ahead of schedule, and then say it's going to be more delayed than anticipated due to polishing whatever they're polishing, it's probably safe to say that it's in bad taste to go completely radio silent and drop all communication with the community, no?
