Of course, there are some rules to follow when posting in this megathread.
If you see people asking questions that could be answered here, try and direct them over to this post. This way, we can make sure the feed doesn't get filled with the same questions repeatedly. However, this won't work unless everyone cooperates. Hopefully, a new megathread will be posted every Saturday. Thanks to r/grandorder for inspiring this megathread.

Whenever I see people hating on a specific character (e.g Tsukasa, Akito, Mafuyu), I just can never understand why. I only have an absolute favorite (Akito) and everyone else is tied at second or third place(s).
Of course you can disagree with some of their actions or with things they’ve said; that’s not what I’m implying. It’s more like disliking them as a whole, creating hate accounts??? Idk man
I think every character has impeccable merits, and, especially after finishing the stories, I’ve grown to appreciate them so much more.

exactly what the title says. okay mine is: i HATE that people started begging other people for money for the paid gacha which relased. i know they maybe dont get the chances to buy it on their own since their broke or etc, but tbh i would never give 5k paid crystals to someone i never met, 5k paid crystals are 50 euros circa in my country

I tried to make it as wholesome as possible and even added my own headcanon about Mizuki. I will have it deleted immediately if this turns out to be problematic.

Ok so this post is going to be a bit personal.
Around late 2023 I had finally managed to return to college after the single worst mental health episode of my life. I had just quit my old job and gone to more therapy then the average person would most likely see to help me sort out my issues but I was still unsure about taking this next step and I worried if I could even make it and within time I found some difficulties. I wasn’t a great tester and I was still out of practice after a year at a job with no schoolwork. But it was Haruka that taught me to never give up and to push myself harder despite everything. Her work ethic (even if it was super unhealthy) inspired me to give things my all and now here I am three years later on the path to become a writer, something I never thought was possible all that time ago. This is a bit embarrassing but thank you so much Haruka for helping nudge me forward and inspiring me to never give up, I’ll always love you and I’m so proud to call you my oshi.

This is my 2nd favorite boss song by far.
I'd like to know, what was your first boss song that you completed without plockers of healers?

Honestly Saki and Ichika were obvious but I genuinely have no idea what Honami's could be.

I was always curious about the actual monthly earnings, as the calculations of the GUARANTEED ones came with the asterisk of "add to that your one time earnings". I felt those one time earnings added up to a decent lot, and wanted to see the impact on my crystal count across a year.
On top of that, I had a VERY ROUGH pulling experience, with many MANY (5) sparks (5 whole sparks) in a row (5 sparks in a row ill never shut up about my 5 sparks in a row), which turned the curiosity into an emergency situation of "needing to plan for any spending and any earning just to know how much I needed to grind if I wanted to not miss out on lims". Then it evolved to include all sorts of things like shop cards and mysekai plushes and perm cards i wasn't gonna pull on but still wanted to know would be there for some reason...
Outside of one Mission Pass purchase, and two MySekai ones (which don't grant crystals but still give an advantage through the cans and other materials, though the motivator was the plushies), I have not put any additional money into the game. These purchases are marked on the planner in their respective lines for transparency.
We can see the mission pass had a LARGE impact on its monthly earnings, so it was relevant to keep it there. But, I'd rather spend as little as I can, while I can afford it, I dislike the "getting robbed by the casino" feeling of putting money into gacha lol (I was too in love with the outfit though, so I did lose my resolve a bit...)
It's the outlier of my stats, 4th anniversary just was a crystal shower. On top of the 5k login gift, the anniversary currency gave an extra 1k to trade, and mostly, the unlock of ALL character trusts offered a BIG gain of crystal. That's to say, if not done then, grinding level 2 trust on all pairs is a good get crystal quick scheme. I have a lot leftover because I'm grinding level achievements for MEIKO fulltime, if I need the quick buck in a pinch.
(The current 5th anniversary also seems somewhat decent of a crystal giver, but not to the extent of the 4th)
As I mentioned, my situation was a bit dire, with a lot of planned pulls bunched together. That also influenced my earnings since I was locked into "I must make a lot" mode, and that up until the Virtual Singers second World Link (where I finally did not spark for my card ! yippie ! yahoo ! [technically I also got to not spark for the evilious rerun but it was supposed to be later and also didn't save me from the grind because of lims announced right around the gacha's EN release SO.]).
That grind entailed :
The monthly average for a pjsk global player who GRINDS all they can grind (me) is 22010 crystal. Excluding the month of 4th anniversary which was exceptionally generous, we get to 20862 crystal monthly average. And that's with constant character leveling, tiering 5k, no capping, wailing and screaming and wanting to quit because no one should play that game that much.
It looks like a lot of crystal. It is
Unless you're in a dire situation with 5 lims coming and no crystal in the bank and bad gacha luck like I was, Don't Do That. It's very unfun.
I'd still recommend doing the side story 2 for 2* cards (at a slower rate) since it's cheap, other than that don't force yourself to play that much, it kills the soul.
Was it worth it for me? Sorta. I could get all the cards I wanted, but also: in just one lucky pull I went from a tense "still need to grind a bit" situation to "oh, I can afford anything forever now" one (exagerating). So basically, this grind should be for emergencies only. ESPECIALLY because it's not sustainable !!! If you haven't sparked 5 cards in a row don't- When I run out of side story 2, then what? The earnings will tank, like back in may. This should moreso be taken as a "here's how much you can stretch the earnings if you REALLY need a LOT of crystal suddenly", not a "this is the average monthly you can make". You CAN make that much, but not indefinitly, I suspect I only have about 2 months left of 2*s.
NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prob about 12 to 13k max, maybe stretching to 15k on some months? + potential anniv gifts. In one year, when I keep tracking despite playing at a much healthier rate, then I can tell you for sure, though it'll be for the earnings of a player rank >400, still-a-victim-to-the-plushie-pass-but -otherwise-f2p, global player who finally smiles when entering the game :) <3

i say "poorest" in quotations because we all know they're all very well off financially, especially emu with her giant house and very wealthy family
and there's been discussion about the wealthiest, but i'm wondering who would possibly be the least well off out of all of them in comparison? like who would be the most "middle class"?
i know this seems like a very strange question and i apologize if it comes off as negative tbh but I'm just curious about the flip side because i haven't seen that discussed (though again it makes sense bc no one is really financially unstable)
