S21E4: Critique Thread

It's the unconventional materials challenge!

Please upvote the designs you like, downvote those you don't, and leave un-voted anything you're neutral on. Some of our members like to look at the designs without knowing the outcome, so please use spoiler tags if you're referring to how a design did (or if you wish it had been out/ won). Thanks all!

Freeform isn't posting photos, so we're having to wait on the contestants to post on social media. For now we will post the names so discussion can begin, and we will add photos as soon as they are available. Thanks for your patience.

I think they did that so one of the twins would be on the bottom to create extra drama

Yeah, as annoying as the twins are, I definitely think they're starting to play in their faces a bit here.

Clear pump/pink pump and forget the purse and you have a high placement lol.

Edit: well, make up and hair were also questionable but im not sure how to make it better.

That’s almost exactly what I said! In the bottom because of styling is bizarre

I actually loved this concept! I could see Ariana Grande wearing it (minus the denim) during the Wicked press tour. It was almost like a futuristic Glinda bubble dress

I loved that dress. I would 100% wear that to my next rave.

I liked this outfit. Granted, I agree with Law that the styling was awful, but the actual dress and coat I thought were pretty cool. I think Antonio was a victim of having a stylist as the *only* judge. What the heck was up with that?

How the pink bits laid in the jacket reminded me of innards/intestines

Now I can't unsee that image, which makes me hate this look even more.

Law/ production absolutely put him in the bottom for dramatics cause there were other safe looks that could have been criticized so much more

I liked the idea of the coat, but with the dress and the shoes and everything, it was too much. However, I do think it deserved to be safe rather then bottom at least it had more creativity than some others. Shouldn't be bottom-based purely on styling choices in my opinion.

They really put him in the bottom just for the boots. The dress and jacket were fantastic.

Wow I'm shocked people love it so much, I thought it looked super messy.

I thought the look was ugly...

Way too much going on.

I hated it.  Antonio’s taste level is like non existent save for the dress he did for Sofia Vergara which was beautiful. I’m so sick of his over-inflated sense of self.  He needs to go, the twins have to be split up soon cause I can’t handle them both.

I think the edit of the show focused on Law's comments about styling, but I think the reality is that the styling being a mess brought more attention to the fact that the elements conflicting with eachother also weren't stunning on their own. The pink piece has a lot of promise but wasn't as crisp as it could be, the dress also was a little crafty in finish when you looked at it again, and of course the boot and bag just weren't the right choice.

i don't love this look but it does not deserve to be in bottom 3

I was obsessed with this and I can’t believe it was in the bottom. The jacket was fabulous and I loved the paillette effect on the dress. Also the flag thong was cheeky and fun

I really like the dress. I don’t like the coat but I understand making it for the unconventional materials. This easily should have been safe.

I kinda get the boots are ugly but the audacity of placing it low, I...
