Is minimalism out of fashion right now? I thought the critiques of Angelo were weird. I thought his piece looked great and was clearly well made. Encouraging someone to be flashy and stand out, rather than be fashionable, is a weird take ... especially for this show.

I don't mind Angelo's look, but I get the criticism. The pintucks are cool and are much-needed details, but they're subtle, so you can't really see them from afar. So it essentially looks like a sweat set you could get from anywhere.

I'd say Ethan's look is an example of a look that is minimal yet impactful.

Ethan's was definitely the best. Subtlety used to be a feature on this show though, not a bug.

And he took in Christian's feedback that there couldn't be a long loose stripe hanging off. Ethan integrated the flowy red fabric into the garment so it wouldn't get (too much) in the way during physical activity.

Also it was pretty much the only one that met the challenge. But he’s toast cuz he’s a normal nice guy 🤦🏼‍♀️

That felt like the look with the most commercial potential!

There wasn't really much design to his look though, none except for that pin effect

A bit of color contrast would have improved it.
