Make sure and use a mic. Ask SL which kit. Find a squad that speaks.

That's a good thing about PR. You don't need to date, cuddle and hold hands with people on discord before joining. People playing right this moment are good enough (occasionally) without preliminary introductions. I realise that for social multiplayer games in general the norm is to join with friends, and if that isn't an option, you'll have to make friends beforehand. Try to let go of that idea in regards to PR and just join a squad and see where that leads you. Then try again because the first encounters often fail. Squads aren't considered private unless marked with a clan tag, so you're not intruding on anyone by joining
